About Us

Our Story

Dauer Farms is a place where faith, family, and agriculture combine to create something special. In November 2023, Adam and Holly Dauer moved to the family farm in Hillsdale County, Michigan, continuing a legacy that began when Adam’s grandparents settled in the area in 1966. As a Christian family, we are grateful for the gifts God has given us, and we strive to honor Him in every aspect of our lives, from farming to raising our children.

Holly, who plays the clarinet in the Wind Symphony, and Adam, who sings in the Arts Chorale, share a deep appreciation for the arts alongside their love for farming. Together, they are raising four children: Leatyn (9), Emberlyn (7), Chevelle (2), and Deacon (1). Holly’s journey to this family started with two daughters from her late husband, and after marrying Adam in July 2021, they were blessed with their daughter and son. Adam officially adopted Holly’s daughters in August 2023, forming a strong, united family.

Our son, Deacon, who has Down syndrome, has taught us so much about resilience and joy. His first year was filled with challenges, but his progress filled us with immense pride. Leatyn is passionate about animals, showing her ewe lamb at the fair and winning Showmanship.

She hopes to expand her flock by breeding her ewe in the fall. Emberlyn is a curious spirit who loves books, gymnastics, and exploring interests like basketball, softball, and beef cattle. Both older girls are actively involved in 4-H and excelling in school.

Chevelle, our playful little clown, keeps the family laughing and brings joy to everyday. She loves the animals, riding in the combine, and sharing precious moments with her “papas.”

At Dauer Farms, we believe in the power of hard work, community, and the blessings that come from God. Every day, we strive to create a place where our family can grow, our faith can flourish, and we can provide high-quality, ethically raised meat to share with our neighbors. We are thankful for the opportunity to live this life, knowing that God’s provision guides us in all we do.
